Yojna (Young Opportunities for the Junior National Aspirants) is a fresh tenet by Yogya, aiming at providing a platform to bring the understanding of Public Policy in use and framing holistic policies. Yojna gives wings to the creative minds in the areas of policy research. It encourages the students to learn the practical techniques and methods of Policy Making and draft a effective governance policy. Under this initiative a lot of dedicated individuals would grab an opportunity to learn about the insights of public policy making under the supreme guidance of adept policy makers/analysis. Various workshops to provide with an upper hand in policy formulation will be conducted for such individuals.
Public Policies have become a norm of urban areas and they are not so well known in the rural areas which results in benefitting only metropolitan cities and urban areas in the form of policies. Article 21 of the Indian Constitution clearly mentions the "Right to Know" of every individual, but this right is generally practiced in urban settlements where the population is curious to know the governance structure and the working of the governments and remains largely absent from remote areas. Yogya formed the platform of Yojna realizing this Urban and Rural divide on the policy question and the importance of understanding the nature of public policies in both urban as well as rural areas.
